The blades for this procedure are circular mounted on a spindle and powered by petrol/diesel or Electric motor. The operative walks behind the unit as it moves alone the surface.
The diamond blade is capable of cutting depths of up to 600mm. Floor Sawing is of course designed to cut floors as they are generally hard services. The blades are diamond tipped. Before the sawing the floor is marked out and cleaned of debris.
Floor Sawing uses water to help reduce the heat caused by friction and to cool the blade, plus this helps reduce the dust and clean the service of the floor surface, which means cleaner cuts, and also makes it environmentally friendly. Floor sawing is effective for cutting horizontal floor surfaces in concrete slabs, pavements, suspended slabs.
